I did not have this issue with alpha1, the issue was introduced with the upgrade to alpha2.
If I try to create a Geospatial Lat / Long field now, I get the following errors.
* Unable to parse WKT.
* The default value is invalid.
The default value is the empty Lat and Long fields.
Has anyone else run into this? How do I resolve this issue?
Thanks,
Will

gagarine CreditAttribution: gagarine commentedTry to:
- edit and save again geo field
- if you use geocode edit and save again field you use as a source (edit and save also the detail of the widget)
- clear cache
- perhaps add a default value like 0 0 in your geo field
