its great that i can attach images using the imagefield module, is there any way to get flickr photosets or facebook images to display using this? it would be geat if i could upload a batch of photos to flickr as a photoset then just add the photoset as a galleria using the flickrfield plugin.

is there another way to do this? the main reason for me doing this is because my host limits php_memory to 24M meaning large images cannot be processed by imaegcache so i could use the large images from a flickr photoset to save on bandwidth and memory if this makes sense.

Assuming you mean the Galleria Flickr plugin, some work is already underway at #1298786: Add support for Galleria plugins (Picasa, Flickr, etc.). I imagine this would be backported to the 6.x-1.x branch.
