Will this module be altered in time to allow users to use embed links to build galleria albums

Will this module be altered in time to allow users to use embed links to build galleria albums for photos on drupal sites.

In other words, in lieu of uploading pictures directly and storing them on the webserver. Users would embed links to, FLickr, Picasa,or other photo services.

I'm working on a site where possibilities for large numbers of photo uploads will be used to supply gallerias.

The purpose for the use of embeds is to allow users to maintain their photos as they do normally from their Flickr, picasa, etc.

It will save users a lot of time consuming work associated with uploading pictures, enormous amount of administrative maintenance and a great deal of server storage.

It can be an enormous task working with users that aren't very computer literate, especially when they have to upload and maintain their photos.

Users have to understand suffixes, pixels, resolutions and other issues that are better addressed education wise on sites like Flickr and Picasa.
