Hello, I've been reading and reading and still can't figure out how to display caption for each image. The documentation is vague or incomplete.
I want each caption appear under every image w/o having to click on the "i" icon on the top right corner. Per your documentation, I have Title and Alt tags enabled. When I click on the i icon, the title tag appears on the top left corner. But the Alt tag content - where is that supposed to appear? Is it supposed to appear at the bottom of the image? Here's my results so far: http://leadinc.no/drupal7/Tempo_project_in_Husnes_Kvinnherad_Norway
I would like something like this http://www.jjohanson.com/galleria/1/ Captions appear below image automatically; no "i" icon to click.

Here's what the documentation says. It refers to both Title tag and Alt tag but doesn't say which is supposed to appear where.

Using the classic theme, both the title (image title field) and description (alt-text field) should appear in the window that appears when clicking the "i" button.

If you want to change the appearance of your Galleria (such as to move the description below the images) you have to use another theme or create/adjust your own theme.
This is not in the scope of this Drupal module or its documentation.
