Excuse this question but i dont understand this module! I should pay 22 € for the source but there are a lot of other modules which make the same!

there are much more but with this modules i have already built a showcase like frontpage slideshow!

So please explain to me, why should i use frontpage slideshow! what are the advantages of this module?

Good points all, but this module is meant to be simply a helper module to enable users who are trying to implement the Frontpage Slideshow component. You're correct that there are many other great slideshow implementations out there already in the Drupal community but slideshows are one of those components like photo galleries that defy a simple design pattern so developers keep making different versions of them to fulfill their specific needs (I've heard developers joke about filtering out the word 'slideshow' from their new module feeds to keep traffic low ;))

One reason why we use the FPSS component (and therefore this module) is that FPSS provides a nice 'templating' system with some elegant pre-packaged templates that lets us quickly alter the look and feel of the slideshow for our clients.

If the existing slideshow modules meet your needs than you probably don't need this module. If you like the format and functionality of FPSS, then this is a nice module to help you implement it on your Drupal site.
