Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
I have set one specific forum to allow only certain users by role. However, anyone with access to that forum, and only that forum, is able to edit ANY topic created by other users. Not counting the comments.
All settings in drupal's forum module and advanced forum prevent any editing by any role except for admin. They are not even allowed to edit their own content at this point.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

salvisLet's be reasonable, please.
Show us the mouse-over tooltip of the "YES (node access)" table cell and show us the other DNA block as seen by the "Special Role for this forum".
Also show us the Forum Access configuration of that forum.
