Hi,
Not an issue as such but could do with some advice with the following.

I have a 'product enquiry' node type which I have enabled the 'data entry in block' option that Form block offers me. Using display suite I have assigned the node creation form to appear in a block on my 'product' content type pages. I have a node reference CCK field on my 'product enquiry' content (edit-field-enquiry-whichproduct-nid-nid) - this field may only reference 'products' and I have also used a view to restrict the nodes that can be referenced; using the argument 'NID from URL' I have set it so that only the 'product' page that is currently being viewed is an option.

I'd quite simply like to hide this field, (edit-field-enquiry-whichproduct-nid-nid), and its label from the block. I have tried using field permissions to achieve this but though users without the appropriate permissions cannot see the field, the field itself does not get filled out with the essential information (ie which product the enquiry concerns).

I've tried using various CSS injector rules but cannot get anything to work. I'm not sure if display suite or node in block is making the field inaccessible or is it further complicated because i'm trying to hide the field when editing and not the displaying. I don't have access to template files or core etc so must find a solution using some of the tools already available to me; ie views, cck, form in block, css injector, sweaver.

I know there are similar threads already on here but I have been through them all with no success. Any help v. much appreciated.

Cheers,
Reg.
