I guess you're playing a joke on us. Did you know that if someone was to run Drupal 6.x for another 3 or 4 years, your module would tell them that it was deprecated?
Are you saying that the Better URL will not be supported (even in D6) in the otherwise supported footnotes module?

So just to clarify here too:
Better URL filter will remain in Footnotes for Drupal 6.x. It will not appear at all in Footnotes for Drupal 7 as the same code is available in core.
