Just got done doing a lot of searching on this and it appears there is a sandbox project for voting API, but that seems one link back from what I need. I would LOVE to be able to provide a service my mobile users could access to vote remotely from my smartphone application. Services Module will not include support for services to modules, only core and views. Given this, the integration should come from the module involved. Thanks for the great module, would love to be able to expand it beyond my server.

The REST integration in D8 allows you to do this easily in Drupal 8. We will not be integrating with Services for D7 at this point.
