Need help getting this working on a d7 install

Hiya -

Poppler utils is installed, the module is installed. I have a document content type with a filefield. I set the display options to either fileviewer or embed fileviewer and nothing happens - no file is displayed, no embedded file is displayed. How can I best troubleshoot this?

If I can get help getting this working I'd be glad to contirbute documentation to this module to help others.

Incidentally, I hope to eventually get this working within a lightbox - perhaps ambitious? Any thoughts around this would be welcome.
