IMHO a new stable version should be released.

Deciphered CreditAttribution: Deciphered commentedIt's hard not to be snarky at these types of issues, because on the rare chance I get time to work on modules that I don't specifically need for paying work I try to clear out as many valid issues as possible, and issues like this only hinder my development process.
I do understand the frustration, I want a stable release as much as everyone else. But you may have noticed theres a few open issues, and just releasing a stable isn't going to resolve these issues, instead it will create a stable release that has known issues in it.
If you really want to help, you could go through some of those issues, confirm valid issues (Issues that aren't already fixed in Dev), help provide reproduction notes (how to see the error in the wild) and weed out the duplicate issues.
In the mean time, I will continue to try to get issues resolved, and continue to close as many issues as possible so that there is a chance of a stable release in the future.
