Hi All,
First Thanks @blainelang for the great module.
I Have created a parent folder called group under top level domain and have the following hierarchy.
Top Level Folder
--Group
----Group1
----Group2
----Group3
----Group4
--Users
Now when Group1 is directly under Top Level Folder then organic group member access permission works perfectly like Only Group member will see the folders and rest of users will not be able to access it.
Now When i move Group1 under the Group folder then Group member access permission doesn't work, i mean even group member also not able to access the group folder.
Can you please give me some hint, like what is happening

blainelang commentedWhat are the folder permissions set for both 'Group' and 'Group 1' ?
mohit_aghera commentedFor Group(i.e. Parent Folder)

For Group1(i.e Child Folder)

Here according to Image Avyukta=Group1

blainelang commentedSince 'authenticated' users have view access to the parent 'group' folder, everyone should be able to view files in that folder but you only have the 'admin' user and the 'Avyukta' group with access setup for the 'group 1' folder.

mohit_aghera commentedAccording to flow of module, if user is member of any group then that folder will be accessible to the logged in user. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Now if user is member of Avyukta Group then he should be able to access/view Avyukta Folder ideally, but it is not coming in my case when Avyukta is child of Group folder. When I keep Avyukta under Top Level Folder then it works as per the design/use case of the module.
If i transfer Avyukta Folder under Group folder; immediately it stops working as per usecase/design
Comment #5
blainelang commentedYes, in order to be a member of a group, you have to be an authenticated user. So users on the Avyukta group should see and have access to the Avyukta folder.
mohit_aghera commented@blainelang: But the problem is that if i give permission to authenticated users then non members of group also see the folder.
blainelang commented@mohit_rocks: I understand and if what your describing is the case then it's a bug. I know it was working and we have installations working with groups.
mohit_aghera commented@blainelang : It is working with group, I agree with that. But when I move that any group's folder to any other folder, then it is not working properly.
Can you give me some idea which file manages it or how to manage it, so i can fix it and it will be helpful to others also

blainelang commentedCan you retest the latest DEV snapshot again?
There have been a lot of changes including support for OG version 1 and 2 now.
