Alias is not updated if Filefield Sources used

On the nodes that reuse files stored on the server using Filefield Sources module the file alias is not created.
If the file was uploaded to the server through another node - current node get same alias assigned.

It looks like there can be only one alias per file (does it related to the node id at all?).

I was wondering if there is a way to have multiple aliases to the same file that is already on the server and has not been uploaded through another node's filefield.
