Using Drupal 8.4.4
field_group 8.x-3.0-beta
As reported for 8.1 with bootstrap (https://www.drupal.org/project/field_group/issues/2870636), tabbed sections are displayed as separate sections on the page, one after the other (scrolling down). Tested both Bartik and also Btheme with font-your-face.
Content-areas are just long, formatted text-areas.
Any ideas for fixing this?

I'm also having this problem using the latest dev and D8.5.6. I'm using Bootstrap, and the tabs are being rendered as collapsible panels. Thanks for any help.

Note: The vertical tabs work fine.

I've also experienced problems with the latest dev and D8.5.6.

These problems occur for me if I'm nesting tab groups. Will investigate and report back.

Same here - vertical tabs work fine and horizontal tabs work like the details tabs

I just installed this module today and I have the same issue with the horizontal tabs. I am on Drupal 8.6.13 and the latest dev version of the module - 8.x-3.x-dev (8.x-3.0-beta1+48-dev).

The current recommend release is broken for nested horizontal tabs.

This is a bit of a showstopper - would suggest raising priority.

Very happy to help if you need more information or can point me in the right direction.

is this still an issue with the latest code on the branch?
I have horizontal tabs in my config and seem to work fine.
Steps to reproduce are fine too of course.

Hi @swental.

To reproduce you'd need to nest a set of horizontal tabs within a set of vertical tabs.

What's wrong with the screenshot? I don't see any issues.
I added a horizontal tab to vertical tabs, but everything seems to be ok for me.

The screenshot shows the desired result. Try to replicate that with the current build. I wasn't able to -> would show you the issue.

I can try to replicate at the weekend and show result if it helps.
