Hi, could it be possible to add the option to let user edit the field when they create the node so they can do what they have to do. After the node is save when they go edit the node, the field will be read-only has it should be.

I think this is more about adding a behaviour to existing widgets that shows the widget unchanged on creation, but hides the widget on edit.
