There is no global setting for fences. Path like admin/config/content/fences does not exist, this readme is misleading, there is no "1. Navigate to Administration > Configuration > Content Authoring > Fences"

Somehow my README has Drupal 7 configuration, I must have messed up with copy and paste along the way. Will fix this up and upload a patch with the correct information when some free time opens up.

Lets just add some helpful information to the project page, the module is really small and is really only one button in the UI you have to find.
