Documentation request

Great, nifty module. Adding your own custom templates adds a whole new dimension to control over output. However, I just spent an uncomfortably long time banging my head, trying to get a custom template to work, all because I gave it a name that included a dash. It would be really helpful if the documentation were more clear that NAMEOFCUSTOMELEMENT really does need to be all one word.
