I have been looking for a module that would make it easier for end users to turn on and off features. Really they don't need all the extra cruft that features provides especially the option to disable modules when they turn off a feature. I haven't installed this module yet and I know it's still in sandbox, but will this provide a better interface for site managers?

Sorry for the belated reaction. In the first phase I don't planed to change the Features module basic functionality (I will use the Features module handling as an api, and only add a new interface).
I don't really understand your module disabling issue about the Features module. Could you describe it in a more specific way?

What I mean is if you disable a feature. It will pop up a window saying "These modules may no longer be needed." When sometimes they actually are. My end users won't know the difference nor do they care. I would just like it to disable the feature not the modules that the feature requires.
