Integration with oembed

Micro-publisher is a very good module. How can I integrate it with oembed so that when a user shares a link, it converts to embedded content. The problem is, when I share a link in status box, it does convert, but when the link is pasted with text written before or after the link, it does not convert. So, FBSMP link is the solution i guess.
