btw, as way of explanation, this affects (at minimum) attaching images as links. If I copy/paste the URL of an image on another website into the URL field of a new status, the HTTP headers aren't properly interpreting the remote URL as an image. As such, the image is not attached, just a link to the image. With this patch applied, the headers are properly interpreted, and a thumbnail of the remote image is displayed.
