Ok so this my first post and first contribution, sorry if i'm not doing this right. (And i'm french so my english may not be perfect, sorry for that too)

I backported everything from the 7.X branch into the 6.x branch (we may call it 6.x-2.x-dev ?)
This is really alpha stage, hopefully it will come in andy for someone else, but be warned that it's not fully tested.

It also permit to use the popup in the 6.x branch
