In Europe we have to chip certain animals, for example horses, with RFID chips. It would be nice to have "Chip" as an option for the ID tag type.
Maybe an option named "Other" could also help, because "None" is sounding weird when an ID is entered.

Great idea! And very easy to implement. I committed it to the 7.x-1.x branch of farm_livestock - it will be included in the next release of farmOS.
