I plan to merge the functionality of this module (http://drupal.org/project/farm_access) directly into the farmOS 8.x-2.x repository.

I have already created a new module in farmOS 8.x-2.x called farm_roles, which provides the three roles: Manager, Worker, Viewer (https://github.com/farmOS/farmOS/commit/9480adb715aa4b4d2fd37c2f1eb3c29d...).
