Problem/Motivation

Can't install FAQ module 8.x-1.1 on drupal 9.4.1

Steps to reproduce

1. Add module through composer:
composer require 'drupal/faq:^1.1'
2. From "Extend" page, try to enable "FAQ" module

Expected Result

FAQ module should be enabled.

Actual Result

Got error message:

Unable to install Frequently Asked Questions due to unmet dependencies: core.entity_form_display.node.faq.default (path)

I'm not sure what dependency is this? Any advice?

Hello @rami.sedhom, I was not able to reproduce the issue (used a clean D9.4 install, and composer require 'drupal/faq:^1.1').
Module installs and uninstalls without hiccups. Please check if your Node module is installed and if you have uninstalled any module before this one that may have messed up config files. FAQ requires: Node, Text, Field, Filter, User and System, all from Core that come enabled in a Default install of Drupal - maybe you've done a custom or simple installation?
If there are additional steps to reproduce the problem, just let me know.

Thanks @jmizarela

It seems to be an issue in my instance only for unknown reason so I changed the Priority to Minor. I'll try to reproduce it to find the root cause.

I stumbled into the same issue. It was caused by module 'path' not being enabled. My site involved is rather technical with validated accounts only so need for SEO.
