Due to the fact that Drupal 8 support now ended I propose to do this:

  • Create a new release from current dev version incl. wells’ patches
  • Require Drupal ^9.1
  • Require PHP ^7.3
  • Switch to semantic versioning and start with 2.0.0
  • Reconfigure the default tests on drupal.org
