Current Entity is not selected in the referenced field

Hi,

Thank you for this module, it really address a very key issue specially in my case where I use a "Review" entityform on each article to get reviewers' feedback on the content. However, I do have little problem in running this one.

The entity form "Review" contains an Entity Reference field "field_article". I set Entity Reference to Node with mode Simple (with bundle filter) and checked the "Entity Reference Current" checkbox. Now, on article content type, I referenced this form via Entity Reference field and select Rendered Entity under manage display. On each article node, the entity form "review" is showing and the article reference field is populated with articles but the current article is not automatically selected, whereas the article has an ID (saved content) and it is the current node being viewed. The module is not working in this scenario.

Have I configured it correctly? One of the issuer recommended to disable Entity Reference Prepopulate but I have no luck with that too. Can you please elaborate the explanation on module's page how to actually configure this?
