No good reason for this module to require php 5.3 (with fix)

Various hosting services still don't have PHP 5.3. Luckily this module has no good reason at all for that requirement. It uses two bog standard callback functions, but instead of simply writing them out and passing their names, it insists on writing them anonymously (repeating one of them four times). The attached patch makes the module slimmer and usable with PHP 5.2.
