I have some inline links that use a 'status' class because it links to a status page. When using the Ember theme this causes an icon to be added to the link, which seems really, really wrong. It seems the styles in _system.messages.scss are not restricted to content in .messages.

The stylings in the replacement system.messages do not match core's styling selectors, which is causing the confusion.
