If you go to github and download the 1.6 branch it seems to be working well. It seems that the original maintainers aren't really supporting this anymore, but another user has created a branch over there that is working. At least for me it is.

I've merged the 1.6 branch (that worked for some of you) to master on github so at least master will be in sync

In the absence of a Drupal 9 compatible version, I have version 9.1.2, I have added the following entry in the info file and I have managed to install and activate the module.

core_version_requirement: ^8 || ^9

It is true that the module fails a lot because there is "deprecated" code, such as "drupal_set_message()", but with patience and a lot of work I have been patching the module.

I hope that very soon this long awaited marriage can be consummated for version 9 in an official way.
