D8 Editor Advanced link is Drupal 9 compatible! Hurray! See:

#3042615: Drupal 9 Deprecated Code Report
#3105317: Add core_version_requirement key so the module can be added to Drupal 9, make a release

but the name of the module has D8 in it which will is confusing for D9 development.

Proposed resolution

Rename module, e.g.

  • Remove D8 entirely
  • Use D8/D9
  • Something else

I did it in the commit message and thought it was going to be automagically updated in the issue but I was wrong.
