Hide save button when no fields are editable based on permissions [#2077621]

First this is a great module !

Is there any way to set edit permissions ? (one role can just view another can edit)

Tried this with field permissions, works almost. Problem is that the "save" button still appears for those that only can view. How can I get rid of the "save" button for those that only can view ? It doesnt have any purpose for them.

I am interested in the answer to this, how do I set a roles permission to allow editing? I would have assumed that it would only show the editable fields if the user has the permission to edit that entity

As field permission module is working properly, it would require that the "save" button were inhibited / hidden if the current role has no active editable fields.
