Since activating the module (it runs fine, all setup, notifications working fine) I am unable to login. After entering secure code it simply redirects to the home page. We had securepages module enabled, but I deactivated it to see if there is any issues with https. No change, still the same.

No records in the watchdog, except of "Session opened for user [username]"

Please advise how to debug the issue.

Had the same issue. Clear your cookies and try without "remember me" box ticked worked for me.

Just as a note i have Persistent Login module enable
