Update Manager supports terms such as "Security update" and "Bug fixes", that change the way the release is presented in Update Manager.

The module should allow adding these terms to release information.

I'll work on a patch for this.

This patch creates a taxonomy vocabulary for release type, populates the taxonomy terms, and uses the user's selected release type (bug fix, security update, new features) in the XML generated for the update. Also adds a field for release notes, and fixes a typo ("unpublisched").

Hi @bart atlas, thanks for your patch. Is it possible for you to rollout this patch against 7.x-2.x branch? It is the latest module version.
