In the user profile, only issues' credits have been counted for the past 1 year:
Credited on xxx issues fixed in the past 1 year
If a module contributor working for their modules or work on other channels (eg. Github) without issues on D.org, their work won't be credited "in the past 1 year".
It's easily misleading employers the efforts you've done in the past years. Employers also unable to figure out the recent work stats quickly.
To handle an own or contributor's issue and non-issues. Usually, it's the same amount of work.

drummFor users, we don’t calculate any total credit. User profile pages list various types of contribution separately, like commits, issue credit, work on documentation. They do not all go into issues since all contribution is not work on issues. The heading is, emphasis added:

Issues credited is limited simply because it is relatively new, and we don’t have all the available data imported, #2042697: Add historical issue credits to Drupal.org user profile. We don’t want to penalize someone for taking a few months or longer off contributing. Commits don’t have this issue, we have good data going back to the start of any project.
