I am wracking my brain, trying to figure out how to install custom smileys into the chat module, so they match the ones that I have installed into the smiley's module for my website. but for the life of me, I can't figure out how it's done. is there even a way to do it? because frankly, I don't want my site to look like yahoo. yahoo already has their smileys, and I don't want it to look like a copycat site. my goal is to have everything as unique as possible. can someone please help direct me on how to do this?

darklrd CreditAttribution: darklrd commentedIt is there on DrupalChat settings page (in the very beginning). It determines how a chat message is transmitted. Thanks.

RavenMacLean CreditAttribution: RavenMacLean commentedit says I'm using long polling. I had no idea what those settings were for, so I left it alone, and left it as the default setting. as a rule of thumb, if I don't understand what a setting is or does, I tend to not mess with it. lol but some clarification on what that setting does, and how it works would be wonderful if there is a way to attain that information. :)
