SeeD and the ETITC https://www.etitc.edu.co/es/ decided to undertake a project aiming to train, on a regular basis, students of the technical, technological, and professional systems engineering faculty, directed by its Dean, Eng. Socrates Rojas. The first training has been conducted from January the 25th through March the 5th every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5 PM. The course modules were designed to enable the ETITC students with the necessary capabilities in order to start a Drupal site-building and administrate contents on a site.

The mail subjects that are being submitted as part of the training are the following:

Introduction to Drupal 9, Installing Drupal 9, The Administration Area, Content management, Content types and fields, Comment types, Menu management, Block management, Installing and configuring themes, Extending functionality with contributed modules, Managing users, roles, and permissions, Taxonomy, Text formats, and WYSIWYG editors, Content types II: Additional fields, Multimedia content, Content types, Display of the content.

For the first training, 22 people attended the majority of the course and at the end of it, the best 2 students in the class, presented a technical test that permitted them to be hired as part of the SeeD team as Jr. Drupal developers.

Signing the agreement with the Faculty of Systems Engineering of the ETITC and providing the instructor and other human resources in order to give track to the training.
