This is a standalone, Symfony-based script for the purpose of helping to automate Drupal updates, particularly for organizations hosting and managing updates for multiple Drupal sites. It can be used with any Drupal 8+ installation that uses composer and includes drush in the vendor/bin folder.
It can be installed on any development machine or server running a compatible version of PHP and configured using YML files. It could be included with other projects via composer if desired, but it's primary purpose is to provide a standalone binary you can download and use, with config files stored in various standard locations on Mac or Linux-based systems.
