Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Since the popular understanding is that 'CCK is now in Core', I expect it will be viewed as a step backward (bug) if this much touted and highly useful feature of D6 CCK is missing.
Attached patch is a port of the CCK D6 module, renamed as 'field_permissions'.
