Occasionally, when creating a node I get doubled text. This is kinda hard to describe so please bear with me:

If the post is long (I haven't been able to determine how long) the text will double up, and start repeating earlier text. A short example:

First Line
Second Line
Third Line
Fourth Line
Fifth Line
Third Line
Fourth Line
Fifth Line

It occurs when you preview and when you post. No error messages appear and sometimes I am able to make it work. It seems to be a limit on the number of either lines or characters in a node before it happens.

please reopen this case when you have clear instructions for reproducing (without htmlarea). that discussion is unclear and implicates htmlarea.module

Huh?

Please view node http://drupal.org/node/view/4044 for further detail. In that node, extensive detail regarding test methodology is given. Laborious testing was done to give good feedback.

Also, please note that the introduction of HTMLArea did nothing to change the behavior. Problem was present prior to the use of HTMLArea.

This was found a long time ago to be a bug with PHP + Apache 2.
