Problem/Motivation

#2909882: Throbbers showing within dropbuttons jump to next line updated the ajax throbber display to position: absolute;. As a result, the ajax throbber now displays over other content on the page. This becomes apparent when using the Paragraphs module:

Proposed resolution

Revert #2909882: Throbbers showing within dropbuttons jump to next line and find an alternative solution that works for all ajax progress displays.

The current content remains readable while the ajax request is being processed.

This seems to be specific to paragraphs? Using the newer form widget, the throbber appears in the middle of the page. But I can still reproduce the issue using the legacy widget. Not sure whether that is going to be supported any longer though.
