When I update my site from drupal 7.38 to drupal 7.39 I get an unsupported version of drupal core message even though I am obviously on the correct version.

I have removed and re-updated multiple times, even going so far as to completely re-setup drupal and test this again, still happens.

Just for a data point, it works for me.

It works for me on certain sites as well, but not for certain sites, multiple times in a row.

I am seeing this issue on an instance of 7.43 - has anybody else run into this? And a way to fix if possible?
