When upgrading from 7.36 to 7.37 one of my modules were mysteriously disabled.
After hours of debugging I found that it was due to a deleted but active theme shared the same name as the module.

There's an issue for this at #371375: Do not allow a module and theme to use the same name., which I will mark for Drupal 7 backport now.
