Follow up to #1921748: Views UI gives no indication that you are editing a disabled view. That will give us the status of a view on the edit form wrapper. So then we can actually do something with this and make and frontend changes to make it obvious that you are editing a disabled view.

dead_armWe should probably use whatever visual pattern we will be using to indicate when a author is editing unpublished nodes, instead of introducing something different just for Views. Currently there is no visual indication other than the message "Not published Last saved 05/25/2013 - 06:47" and this is the related issue #867830: "Unpublished" style of rendered entities is not accessible (and looks bad) We don't currently have a last edited timestamp for a Views display, and introducing that solution was backlogged in #3 of #1831894: Users miss "save" button and can't distinguish "editable" and "preview" areas
