I was testing out the Util module and had some issues that I reported about it and NancyDru replied stating that I should not have been able to install those submodules as they were marked as "core = 6.x" and recommended I submit this issue report about it.

I installed them when I was on D7.14 (just updated to D7.15 today). I had no "little red x's" as I'd seen in the past on the Modules list page when I had mistakenly uploaded a D6 module. So, there was no indication that these modules were not yet converted over to D7 even though the module pack that was downloaded and installed was a D7 module and submodule set, just not yet completed/converted as NancyDru states.

The modules all stated they were 7.x-1.x-dev on the Modules page so I'm not sure where the issue lies, either in the module or in the checking mechanism. As stated before, I have had this install deny enabling of D6 modules in the past, so there must be some grey area here that's not fully covered when a D7 module is marked as "core = 6.x".
