This project is not covered by Drupal’s security advisory policy.

This project will try to detect if the user misspelled the domain part of the e-mail in the registration form.

For instance if the user spelled john.doh@gmai.com the project will say that the e-mail is probably john.doh@gmail.com. The user can then click on a "I know what I'm doing" checkbox or correct the e-mail.

It uses the editing distance of the domain part of the e-mail with a list of well-known e-mail domains. If the domain entered is too similar then it is probably a typo.

This project is sponsored by Vyreal (http://www.vyreal.com) and is currently under production in the psAfterlife service (http://www.psafterlife.com).
