Problem/Motivation
The community documentation page Why drupal.org doesn't host GPL-"compatible" code is obsolete and no longer gives the correct information. That even goes for the title. Per current Git repo policy, Drupal.org hosts GPL-compatible code.
There has been several changes in our GIT repo policy (the latest and most significant in 2017 Dec. 17).
I've edited the page and placed links to the current docmentation on top, but I've not deleted anything.
Proposed resolution
This page is no longer useful, and should be deleted.
Remaining tasks
- Review of this issue by the Documentation group.
- Delete the page.
- Redirect requests for it to https://www.drupal.org/node/422996 (Policy on 3rd party libraries on Drupal.org).

eojthebraveIt would probably be good if we could redirect the URL somewhere else when we delete the page. It seems like maybe this https://www.drupal.org/node/422996 would be the best page to redirect to. Thoughts?
gisleYes, redirecting to https://www.drupal.org/node/422996 seems like a good idea.
It is the canonical page for policy on 3rd party libraries on Drupal.org.

eojthebraveOkay great. I setup a redirect for node/66113 to node/422996, and removed node/66113. Thanks for pointing this out.
