I suggest we create a calendar of important religious holidays which can help organisers of Drupal events to schedule their event. This would be a great help to organisers to make sure their event is inclusive and not exclusive to any religions.
I suggest following:
Date - Name of holiday - Religion - Red day in which countries*
* Which countries have national holiday on this day
With the help of the diverse community, we should be able to fill this out pretty quickly and this would be of a great help for all organisers of Drupal Events around the world.

sparklingrobotsA quick google search turned this up: http://www.interfaith-calendar.org/
I don't know how accurate it is, or how complete. But it might be something to use instead of building our own.

baddysonjaIn 2017 we had over 50 camps in Europe (almost one per week). I think it would be helpful if we assist organisers with choosing the best possible date for their event.
In Europe, we often see diversity groups issuing their own calendar like this one: https://www.cityworksforum.co.uk/resources/diversity-calendar.htm
or this one https://info.lse.ac.uk/staff/divisions/equity-diversity-and-inclusion/As...
The interfaith-calendar.org shows the dates, but doesn't have any information if the days after are also important in the religion.
Example: 1.4.2018 is Christian Eastern Sunday. The following Monday is a red day in most of Christian countries. This day is missing on the interfaith-calendar.
