Problem/Motivation

We have tried to implement Declarative Shadow Dom in alpha phase (#3535999: Render UI with both front and admin theme ) and it was a mistake because it was based on islands (each island was telling if it was displayed with front or back theme). It was reverted and we are trying again in beta phase (#3562060: Render UI with admin theme ).

Unfortunately, some useless and confusing leftovers have remained.

Proposed resolution

Remove them.
