As discussed in #2899804: Module abandoned? Sure seems so..., it appears this module is no longer under active development. We (Civilized Discourse Construction Kit, Inc), the team that develops and maintains Discourse, have started receiving support requests about this module. We'd like to request that a note be added to the documentation to make it clear we did not create this module, and do not maintain or support it.

I have removed the dead link from the project page. I have also taken steps to make is officially Unsupported, see #3402587: Discourse Forum Integration appears to be unsupported.
