I use patched version of directory for drupal version 5.

Everything is ok except displaying teasers. Line breaks are not taken in consideration. Therefore, the teaser text is not displayed correctly.

I don't think it is a problem with my installation because teaser of the same article is shown corectly through other modules.

What can be done?

Which teaser are you talking about?
You mean the text seen in directory/nnn pages?

I'm not sure what he means, either, but I noticed, that the Directory module seems to circumvent to parse the node's content through input filters. I'm using non-HTML-filter, and the directory/nnn pages contain markup code (which obviously looks awful).

Maybe it's something similar what mishhh meant; afaik, line beaks are also generated through the input filter chain.
